Customer Terms of Service

1.1. "Competition" refers to any football prediction challenge hosted by LMS in which users pay to enter and are eliminated based on team selection performance.
1.2. "Entry Fee" means the payment required to participate in a competition, as displayed on the competition page.
1.3. "Buy-back" refers to the option for eliminated users to re-enter a competition by paying the buy-back fee displayed on the competition page, which may differ from the original entry fee.
1.4. "Platform" means the website and backend systems operated by LMS HQ to host and manage Competitions.
1.5. "User Content" includes any selections, team picks, or data submitted by the user as part of their participation.
1.6. "Rules" means the gameplay and participation guidelines published on our Rules page.

2.1. LMS HQ provides a skill-based competition where Users predict winning football teams on a round-by-round basis.
2.2. Competitions involve knockout rounds. If your selected team fails to win or is ineligible under the Rules, you are eliminated.
2.3. LMS is a skill-based competition and is not a gambling platform. Outcomes are determined by skill, knowledge, and strategic decision-making.

3.1. Users must be at least 18 years of age.
3.2. Users outside the UK are welcome to participate, but you must not take part if it is unlawful to do so where you are located.
3.3. By registering, you warrant that all submitted information is true, accurate, and current.

4.1. You may hold only one account, which must be for your own personal use and not operated on behalf of another person.
4.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4.3. You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use of your account at support@lastmanstandinghq.com.
4.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspected fraud, abuse, operating multiple accounts, or rule violations.

5.1. Participation in a competition requires payment of the Entry Fee as displayed on the competition page.
5.2. Buy-backs are offered at the price displayed on the competition page (which may differ from the original entry fee), subject to availability. Each user may buy back once per competition.
5.3. Payment is by bank transfer, or from any account credit you hold. Transfers are reconciled by LMS, usually within 48 hours. You may submit a pick while your payment is still pending, but your entry is only confirmed once the transfer has been matched.
5.4. See section 10 (Refunds) and our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details on when refunds may or may not be given.

6.1. Some competitions have a minimum number of paid entries, shown on the competition page. Where a minimum applies, the competition does not start until it has been reached.
6.2. If the minimum is not met by the advertised start date, LMS reserves the right to delay the start or to cancel the competition and refund or credit affected entries.

7.1. All Users must comply with the published Rules available on our Rules page.
7.2. We reserve the right to disqualify any User who breaches these Rules.
7.3. We may amend Rules from time to time, and it is your responsibility to check for updates.

8.1. If a match is postponed, cancelled, abandoned, or rescheduled, or if its result is later changed by the governing football body, affected players progress to the next round rather than being eliminated for something outside their control, as set out on our Rules page.
8.2. A competition cannot be won on a postponed match alone. In situations the Rules do not cover, LMS may, at its discretion, void the affected round or take other action needed to keep the competition fair.

9.1. Prize pots are either guaranteed up front or grow with entries, as stated on the competition page.
9.2. Where the pot is guaranteed up front, LMS funds the pot and entry fees go towards running the platform.
9.3. Where the pot grows with entries, LMS retains one third of each entry fee as a platform fee and the remainder goes into the pot. Buy-back fees go towards running the platform.
9.4. The prize distribution is set out in the Rules or on the competition page.

10.1. Refunds are not given in cases such as change of mind, missed picks, elimination, or user error, as set out in more detail in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10.2. If LMS cancels a competition, if a competition never starts because its minimum was not met, or if LMS took a payment in error, we will refund or credit your entry.
10.3. If you have sent a payment that we cannot match to your entry, for example because the reference or amount was wrong, contact us and we will either apply it to your entry or refund it. See 5.3 for how pending transfers are handled.

11.1. LMS HQ operates on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free functionality.
11.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11.3. Subject to 11.2, we are not liable for losses arising from server outages, data feed inaccuracies, changes in match schedules, or force majeure events.

12.1. All platform content, branding, and infrastructure are the intellectual property of LMS HQ.
12.2. You retain rights to your User Content, but grant LMS a non-exclusive right to use it for analytics, reporting, and promotion.

13.1. LMS may monitor User activity to ensure fair play and compliance.
13.2. Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, or unfairly influence outcomes will result in disqualification without refund.

14.1. We reserve the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time.
14.2. Material changes will be notified by email or on the Platform. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15.1. If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@lastmanstandinghq.com and we will do our best to resolve it.

16.1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
